SAKG Working Bee

Our garden is taking full advantage of the warmer spring temperatures. The veggies are abundant and growing bigger. It’s wonderful for the students to see the affects of the weather and the fruits of their hard work.

If any parents want to come and see firsthand what’s happening, and have a few hours to help us out, our next Garden Working Bee is on Sunday September 30 from 9 til noon. There’s a bacon and ‘Stanmore-chook egg’ roll in it for you.

HELP! Water Dish for the Chooks

We need a new water dish for the chickens. The old one was a bird bath top that was found and fixed up. Unfortunately it’s now leaking and beyond repair.

If you have a deep dish that can sit on the ground in the outside coop, one that’s big enough for the chickens to wet their feet in on a hot day, it would be most appreciated. Come and see Fiona in the garden or call her on 0424 114 453.
