Kitchen Garden Redesign

Category: P&C News Blog Last Updated: Friday, 28 February 2020

At the first P&C meeting of 2020, on Tuesday, February 11 new principal Hugh Miller reported on what’s in store for our Kitchen Garden.

Both he and the garden teacher, Mara Rotheraine, have looked at the plans that had been drawn up, and asked the designer to make changes. These include retaining some of “the wildness” of the existing design, and adding some raised beds to improve accessibility. The plan also includes moving the compost and covering it, and building a new outdoor learning area.

The new plans will be brought to the next P&C meeting on Tuesday, March 17 for consultation with the community.
